The last bottling of this sold out apace... Beautiful colour to what looks like another bombshell Balblair - all matured in first fill Sherry casks and bottled all natural at 51.6% Alc./Vol. And the price is very reasonable. 624 bottles produced. A handful available.

Notes from the bottlers... Aroma: Rich and sherried: juicy plum mixes with clove and cinnamon; brown sugar and fudge mature into red apple sprinkled with cocoa powder and an underlying citrus peel edge. Taste: Creamy and smooth, stewed plum, raspberry, and apple combine with cinnamon and orange peel. Hints of roasted chestnuts transform into tart cherry and oak. Finish: Long and spicy with lingering dark chocolate. 51.6% Alc./Vol.

In the 1960s, G&M's 'Connoisseurs Choice' range broke new ground, giving a platform to many of Scotland’s single malt distilleries from across all regions, some of which had never before been bottled as single malts. Most recently they've overhauled their porfolio with a sleek new contemporary look. Expressions are now divided into three main flavour profiles: smoky (silver label), Sherry cask-matured (blue label) and Bourbon cask-matured (green label).
