The highest tier of Douglas Laing's current collection is the XOP (Xtra Old Particular) label. These are the “family jewels”, each release being a one of a kind, all natural whisky.

Distilled in 1993 and bottled March 2019 from a refill hogshead (DL13082), this is Macallan as few will have experienced it before, non chill filtered and natural colour (official distillery bottlings are typically chill filtered). Plus it's cask strength at 51.6% Alc./Vol. The presentation is another highlight - the whisky comes handsomely packaged in a heavy base bottle with dovetailed wooden box and its own individually numbered certificate. 280 bottles are on offer worldwide.
