1993 Coriole Mary Kathleen Reserve Cabernets

The Mary Kathleen is a Bordeaux blend, consisting of 50% Cabernet 40% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Opaque brick red colour. The nose displays aromas of confectionary, cedar, ripe plums and spice with a leathery earthy overtone, attributed to the merlot. On the palate the merlot continues to dominate over the spiced plum and cedar. The tannins are a little firm at this stage and a few more years bottle age is recommended. Lingering liquorice leather aftertaste. Cellar 5 years.
