1992 Yalumba Show Reserve Coonawarra Merlot

Yalumba are emerging as an exceptionally consistent high quality red wine producer, irrespective of price point or region of origin. This Show Reserve Merlot is drinking well now and will continue to do so over the next five years or so. Rich deep crimson plum colour. The nose is uplifted with excellent spicy mulberry, cedar and blackcurrant aromas. On the palate ripe plummy, mulberry flavours are enhanced by smoky cedar oak flavours, fine tannins and good balance with long chocolate plum aftertaste.
