Traditionally the Domain Chandon Chardonnay cuvee wines have required some additional time on yeast to fully realise their potential. Their characteristic delicacy and refined freshness benefit greatly from the subtle enhancement of yeast ageing. The Blanc de Blancs 1992 remains amazingly fresh with distinct fruitiness derived from the Chardonnay.This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. Vibrant yellow colour with green highlights. The nose displays lovely fresh Chardonnay aromas together with buttery, nutty, complex yeast aged characteristics. The palate reflects the nose showing up-front freshness leading to a lovely creamy and soft middle palate married with a subtle nuttiness coming from the extended period on yeast. This wine will develop more and more lovely toasty characters with cellar age.
