Founded in 1817, Bladnoch is the most southerly distillery in Scotland, situated near Wigtown in beautiful Dumfries and Galloway. Mothballed or liquidated at least four times in its history, Australian businessman, David Prior bought Bladnoch in 2015. Joining forces with ex-Burns Stewart guru, Ian MacMillan as Master Distiller, production re-commenced in 2017 after a major refurbishment, including the replacement of the stills. Notes from the bottlers... This fine lowlander has a beautifully perfumed, soft and yet deep-set fruitiness. The palate offer lemongrass zest with honey nougat. This finish is lingering with elegant, soft fruit notes. Non chill filtered. 46% Alc./Vol.
