Tasting note: Finished for ten months in a second fill Pedro Ximenez cask. Brilliant deep gold. A creamy, floral-soft bouquet with aromas of beeswax and tea biscuits, building after air contact with a superb orchard fruit character (nectarines? stewed apples?) Silky, finely tuned Bunnah' with moderate fruitiness and biscuity malt through the middle stages. The PX makes itself present at the finish, but it's subtle. Excellent sweet-dry balance. Beeswax repeats in the aftertaste. 46.6% Alc./Vol. 585 bottles produced.

Notes from the bottler... A creamy single malt with a sunny soul, a warmth and a soft sweetness that will appeal to novices and whisky enthusiasts alike, because the fruity character of the PX does not overwhelm of the typically mineral, waxy and robust flavour profile of the distillery. Its notes of dried plums, black cherries, chocolate and coffee will make it a lovely match for dessert, and the velvety character and absence of any rough edges will perfectly complement a robust cigar too. The finale remains clean and without any of the winey notes or the cloying artificial sweetness that are usually associated with PX finishes.
