1987 Marques de Caceres Grand Reserva

A superb aged Spanish red, with its own unique set of aromas and flavours. Made from Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano grapes. Medium body, sienna brown colour showing its age. Under those ‘wrinkles’ a Spanish beauty lies. Perfumed nose of leather, truffle, white pepper, figs and spice. Mouthfilling palate, with silky smooth texture. Flavours of almond, icing, sweet strawberry jam, truffle and leather. Fine grained velvet smooth tannins, yet still perceptively dry and lingering. Very long aftertaste of white pepper, almonds and leather. Enjoy now.
