Darroze's "Unique Collection" presents Armagnacs of intense character, coming from single estates and single vintages. This edition was distilled in 1980 from 100% ugni blanc grapes.

Tasting note: Brilliant deep gold with impressive legs. Dessert style aromas of crunchie bar and caramel nib in the opening sniffs. Air contact accents sticky date pudding with 3-4 minutes in the glass lightening the bouquet revealing shortbread and dried mango-like notes. A concentrated, mildly acidic, astringent attack with a lean, oaky, gently bittersweet mid-palate; fills out at the finish with flavours of sponge cake, black pepper, cardamom and dried fig. Lengthy aftertaste. Atypical and distinctive. 46.5% Alc./Vol.
