1963 Gordon & Macphail Private Collection Kinclaith 32 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Lowlands, SCOTLAND
$3600. 00
Bottle
$43200.00 Dozen
ABV: 40%

A whisky from the Kinclaith distillery (a Lowland distillery which closed in 1975 and was dismantled in 1976/77). The last owners were Allied Distillers. This incredibly scarce Lowlander has never been officially bottled as most of its output went into parent company, Schenley International's, 'Long John' blend.

This uber rare release was distilled in 1963 and aged in cask number 100572 (a refill sherry hogshead) for 32 years before bottling for Gordon and MacPhail's Private Collection in February 1995. With an outturn of just 64 bottles, this falls into extreme collector territory. Investors note: A miniature bottle of 1966 Kinclaith (50 ml) sold for 107 pounds at auction in 2002.
