1959 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

A pale tawny colour, almost a faded brick red. A very delicate bottle of wine with some maderised and volatile notes on the nose. Aromas that do show are of toffee and caramel and touches of leather. The palate belies the bouquet with creamy cherry flavours showing life, against a backdrop of developed leather and resin notes. These flavours do fade rather quickly, however, as it sits in the glass.
