Tasting notes: size> A "lighter" Grange which spent less time (about nine months) in oak and was bottled early. "...always lacked something", said Max Schubert in 1993.

"A bit weak". (Max Schubert, 1993)

Very light, aged style. (Rewards of Patience, 1st ed., 1985)

"Well-cellared bottles may show fully developed fruit and lacy tannins, but most are past. Very rare curio and collector value." (Southcorp Wines, The Rewards of Patience, Fourth Edition, March 2000)
