2010 Signatory Vintage Caol Ila 10 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Caol Ila has a reputation for producing smoky, maritime whiskies of elegance and poise. It's arguably at its best uncut and from x Bourbon barrels, but works with sherry too. The boys at whiskyfun.com tasted a sister Signatory Caol Ila cask (also a 2010 distillate from a sherry butt) describing it as "a seriously, lovely young yet mature Caol Ila from a very good cask. It's hard to do better at ten." Expect something similar here, plus power toboot at 58.9% Alc./Vol. 528 bottles. Non chill filtered.
