2008 Signatory Vintage Pulteney 12 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Since the official 17 year old and 21 year old expressions were discontinued due to a lack of stocks, any Pulteneys are welcome on our shelves! This promises an intense and deliciously fruity malt from the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland. Matured in refill Bourbon barrels, then finished in a fresh sherry butt for 33 months before bottling in 2021. Being a coastal style, the malt has been variously descibed as "very fresh" and "smelling like something like smoky apple juice mixed with seawater." Guaranteed to be about as punchy as Pulteney gets at 55.8% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 652 bottles.
