Described by Zuidam as the most robust whisky in the Millstone line up. A young Bourbon-like bouquet evokes gobstoppers, vanilla malt and cinnamon buns, but gets more malty and 'mature' with time in the glass. Packs decent weight given the middling ABV, starting out dry and brittle, developing with budding spices and ending with delicious oak-barley integration. Coconut and vanilla gain definition before the crisp, medium-long finish. 100% new American oak matured. 43% Alc./Vol. Silver medal at the Wizards of Whisky competition in London in 2014.
