A sought-after vintage of White Horse, due to the ratios of Lagavulin used in the blend, with a notable inclusion of Glen Elgin. Bottled right before the change from imperial to metric bottle sizes.
White Horse was first introduced to the world in 1890 by Peter Mackie and takes its name from the White Horse Cellar Inn in Edinburgh, near where the Mackie family lived. The composition included Lagavulin and whiskies from the Glenlivet district in Speyside. One only to sell. Alc./Vol. not shown on the labels.
