The Macallan Exceptional Single Cask 2018/ASB-3890/09 Limited Edition Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

30 year old Macallan at natural strength bottled as part of the uber-rare 'Exceptional Cask' series. Interestingly, most of these are European Oak Sherry Casks. This is the only one we've seen stated as American Oak Sherry butt matured. Distilled in 1988 and bottled in October 2018 with an outturn of 130 bottles. One only available.

Created for the United States and parts of Asia, the "Exceptional Single Cask" series was launched in 2017, with all whiskies entirely matured in Sherry-seasoned casks filled between 1995 and 2004 and with age statements ranging from 12 to 22 years.
