Lark has a limited range of small batch whiskies available for purchase from the cellar door, usually sporting an uncommon variety of barrel finishes. This was their inaugural release. Starting out life in Bourbon and Apera casks, the whisky then spent its finishing period in Amontillado-style Apera casks from Seppeltsfield. Amontillado typically adds the very familiar qualities of your regular sherry influence, but backs it off a touch.
