Firm, spicy, powerful entry yields off dry flavours of dried fruits, sweet cereals and honey with a delicate smokiness. A drying, woody, spicy attack then kicks in delivering terrific palate length and perfectly counterpointing the sweeter notes. Excellent balance. Spicy, warming mouthfeel. Other Reviews...Lovely balance on the nose and palate. Soft and gently textured, too. The sweetness of the whisky (honey, fruit gum drops, and malty vanilla), dovetail nicely with light, bright citrus and teasing dried spices. Heather/floral notes enhance the whisky’s complexity.
