Suntory Old Japanese Tradition Blended Japanese Whisky (700ml) - Zodiac Year Of The Horse

Like other Suntory brands, there are several generations of "Old" dating back to the 1950s, each with minor tweaks to the label, including present day bottlings like this. It's described as "a mid market blend (below Hibiki in Suntory's blended whisky pecking order but above Kakubin."

There is a similar Suntory Old sub titled "Rich & Mellow", also bottled at 43% which has received strong praise from the likes of Jim Murray (91 points). This may be a very similar product, as other versions of Old are bottled at 40% ABV. Still packaged in its traditional dark coloured dumpy bottle, the secondary title on this edition reads "The Japanese Tradition".
