Part of Spring Bay's wine cask series, this x French oak Chardonnay barrel matured whisky was finished and vatted in an x apera cask.

Notes from Spring Bay... Nose: Gentle oak with butter scotch, sweet florals, orange rind and dried apricots, with a delicate wisp of malt in the background.Palate: Upfront sweet citrus peel and honey, flowing into a soft broad mid pallet of raisins. Warmth builds as it moves to the back pallet with rich oak caramels and a hint of clove. Finish: Balance of oak, Chardonnay and Apera, lingering dried fruits and butter caramels, reminiscent of a good Armagnac. 46% Alc./Vol.
