ABV: 46%
Tasting note: Brilliant gold. Reminiscent of a fruity Speysider on the nose; think Linkwood or Glenlossie; Fragrant scents of fruit yoghurt, pastries, light caramel and vanilla. Follows with a full bodied, malt-focused delivery, building with lively spices, vanilla and sweet cream-tea biscuit flavours. The finish is oily, honeyed, pure and delicately fruity, nicely balanced by pepper and drying oak. 46% Alc./Vol.

Other reviews... Distillery owner Patrick Evans grows much of the distillery’s barley on his 380-acre farm on the shores of British Columbia’s Straits of Georgia. In 2011 Evans and distiller James Marinus fired up the distillery’s two Forsyths copper pot stills. The resulting single malt is creamy, malty, and slightly minty. Citrus fruits, peach pits, and stimulating white pepper slowly fade into gentle barrel notes.
