Penderyn 41 Single Malt Welsh Whisky (700ml)

The latest addition to the range, the Penderyn 41 Aur Cymru (Welsh Gold) has been matured in Bourbon casks before finishing in Madeira casks. It seems the move to bottle at 41%, was due to the huge success of the Port wood edition in mainland Europe that was bottled at that same strength.

Other reviews... (bottle code - March 11 release). Had me worried at first. The nose and to a lesser extent, the delivery were unusually thin and niggardly. But recovers from the mid ground onwards with its usual fruity charm. 84.5 points 41% Alc./Vol.
