Matsui's Double Cask combines two rare woods in one whisky: The Sakura (cherry blossom wood) and Mizunara (Japanese oak). The former is said to add a floral sweetness, delicate perfume, and a touch of dry spice, while the latter imparts notes of coconut, sandalwood, vanilla, and distinct oriental spices. A treat for anyone seeking something novel in the category! 43% Alc./Vol.
