Heartwood Whisky from the Toolbox Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky (500ml)

'From a Tool Box' was the first release where Tim Duckett's son, Louie (also an independent bottler) took over the blending. Spirits were sourced from Tasmania’s own Launceston Distillery and Fanny’s Bay Distillery. Casks included x Tokay, Apera and Bourbon. The curious name comes from Tim's habit of stashing a whisky of the highest quality in his tool box for a sneaky treat. Reports have it this bottling was stowed away as a keeper! Bottled in March 2021 at 58.45% Alc./Vol, 'From a Tool Box' is also remembered as one of the most over-subscribed releases in Heartwood's history. 141 bottles produced.
