Heartwood The Toddler Cask Strength Single Malt Australian Whisky (500ml)

A young, heavily peated whisky from Larks, 175 bottles of "The Toddler" have been released, drawn from a Sherry cask filled on April 2012 and bottled in June 2016. As usual our allocation is very small.

Tasting note: Bright gold showing considerable legs. Powerful aromas include white pepper, hints of smoky cardamom followed by vanilla and Marie biscuits. Creamy, gently bittersweet, tingly spirit; flavours suggest light rye bread, a touch of caraway and a dash of anise to finish. Outstanding balance with the sugars lingering. Delicate pepper / gingerbread aftertaste. Precocious young Lark. 63.1% Alc./Vol.
