From the southernmost of the Highland distilleries. Glengoyne uses only unpeated malted barley, air dried rather than dried under a peat fire. This 15 year old is aged in both bourbon and first-fill sherry casks. Expect a smooth, malt-focused dram that's completely devoid of smoke. Natural colour. 43% Alc./Vol.

Marvelously rustic on the nose, with aromas of dried forest leaves and bramble, lemon, vanilla, peach, and light sherry soapiness. Honeyed texture and flavor on the palate, pleasantly bright with honey, lemon tea, apricot and peach tart, which continues to a smooth and honeyed finish with notes of cinnamon, marmalade, and sliced orange.
