Created exclusively from undisclosed Islay single malts and bottled at 54.5% ABV, without added colour or chill filtration, despite the substantial smoke and texture, the whisky remains sweeter and more approachable than its strength might suggest. Awarded 94 points and described as "balanced and delectably smoky" at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge.

Other reviews... While most Islay whiskies tend to have a strong peaty character that’s, for the most part, an acquired taste, this is definitely one of the more approachable ones I’ve tasted so far. Rich in savory smokiness, it’s nicely balanced with a smooth, oily texture that pleasantly coats the tongue ending in a medium to long finish.
