Deutz Brut Classic Champagne

Pours with a white frothy mousse that shows very good hold. Once dissipated it reveals a pale straw base wine colour and a very fine exceptionally persistent bead. Good complex nose with scents of freshly baked bread and yeast lees to the fore followed by some light toast, citrus and brioche. The palate has good richness and a creaminess to its texture delivering flavours of baked bread and yeast lees over some toast, light almond like characters and citrus. Crisp dry finish. Long aftertaste of yeast lees, baked bread, subtle dried honey, cashew and toast.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
