Information is scarce on the history and activities of the 'Potter Distilling Company' from which this 11 year old 100% corn whisky originates. It was British Columbia’s only distillery when Ernie Potter founded it in 1958, starting out as a bottler and merchant of liqueurs. The Potter's name is also referenced with the 'Cascadia distillery', although it is not clear when or why that name came to originate. The company diversified when acquired by Australian born Captain Harold John Cameron Terry in 1962, where it sought to produce varying styles of spirit.

As of 2005, the Potter's Distillery was acquired by Highwood Distillers who continue to produce an array of products under various labels - however it would seem that curios like this have been left behind. This highly unusual 100% Corn offering was bottled after 11 years in a Bourbon barrel by Scotland's oldest independent bottler: Cadenhead's.

Bottled: September 2000. 372 Bottles produced. 55.1% Alc./Vol.
