Pronounced "Ae-ree ne gray-nyuh" and meaning ‘Morning Sky’ in Gaelic, this is a Duty Free only Bunnah'. A relatively small number of cases are produced every year. There's a significant proportion of high-quality ex-red wine cask-matured whisky of various ages in the mix. Expect flavours of "roasted nuts, dried fruits, hints of sea salt and smoke." Big one litre format.

Tasting note: [Batch 3 tasted] Peated to 3-8ppm and finished in French and Italian red wine casks. Pretty bright brass colour. Evolves with strawberry-cream sponge cake / dried berries / fruit beer notes. A concentrated dram. Spritely and lively spirit in the mouth. Cocoa and barley with a saline / pepper edge. The creamy finish is the highlight which includes strawberry sponge cake and red berry notes into the aftertaste. Tasty stuff! 46.3% Alc./Vol. Non-chill filtered.
