2022 Cedre Heritage Cahors Malbec

Juicy and bright with a savoury earthy dried herb finish.

A certified organic blend of 95% Malbec and 5% Merlot matured for 16 months in concrete tanks. Dense inky black colour with a dark purple hue. Dark cherry, plum and blueberry scents infused with dried herbs drift from the glass followed by some earth and spice notes. Juicy morello cherry, liquorice and blueberry fruits are underscored by bright acidity. Some spicy dried herb and earthy graphite like characters tail off onto the back half. Grainy tannins with a savoury earthy dried herb finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
