2021 Domaine de la Mordoree La Dame Rousse Lirac

A mid weighted, finely detailed Lirac with an elegant conclusion of ample freshness.

A blend of Grenache and Syrah. Very deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. A fragrant mix of dark raspberries, dark cherries and liquorice greets the nostrils. Also chiming in is some earthy incense like notes, provincial herbs and pepper. Rich dark raspberry, liquorice and black cherry fruits are finely detailed across the mid weighted palate with notions of blueberry, scorched earth and peppered herbs integrated across the back half. Mildly chalky tannins and energetic acidity with an elegant conclusion of ample freshness.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
