2014 Delas Les Launes Crozes-Hermitage

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright purple red hue. Aromas of blackberries infused with graphite and liquorice are overlaid by scorched earth characters with peppery end notes. Medium weight and elegant with a fairly supple mouthfeel the palate has flavours of dark cherries, subtle liquorice, dried meats and scorched earth with a dry rustic pepper infused finish. Finely grained yet structurally firm tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, ripe dark cherries infused with dried meats, scorched earth and pepper.
Cellar 5-6 years.
