2013 Bouchard Pere & Fils La Vignee Bourgogne Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe pear and white peach intermingling with some dried honey followed by cashew and spice end notes. Medium bodied with a slight creaminess about the texture the palate features elegant flavours of ripe white peach and pear over a background of cashew, dried honey and spice. Clean dry finish with well balanced acidity. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe pear, dried honey and spicy cashew. Elegant and texturally appealing this is a very well made Bourgogne.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
