2011 Chateau Guiraud Le Petit Guiraud (375ml)

This is Chateau Guiraud’s new second label that is produced from 65% Semillon and 35% Sauvignon Blanc. Brilliant bright straw colour with pale gold edges and a very pale straw hue. The nose displays top notes of honeyed peach and apricot followed by some honeycomb and a hint of lemon butter as an end note. Rich with a thick luscious texture the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of honeyed apricot and peaches over some marmalade and light lemon butter. Soft acidity. Long aftertaste of honeyed apricot, peaches, marmalade and subtle lemon butter.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
