This is the latest of the 'LB' expressions and many will be scrambling to complete the current set. With collector appeal now gathering momentum in Asia, the LBs are becoming trophies to trade or hide away and sell at auction. The ten year old follows a trend of downward age statements - not necessarily a bad thing, as younger Springbanks are generally our preference. This one's made using 'Belgravia barley' from Glencraig's Farm and is the deepest, darkest Local Barley on record due to a full term maturation in sherry casks. Distilled in 2010 and bottled in December 2020 at a natural strength, 8500 bottles were initially available, with the UK already sold out. The Australian allocations represent a small fraction of that and are so small, this is limited to one bottle per customer.55.6% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
