2010 Cooper's Choice Glenturret 9 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Undoubtedly a novelty, even for seasoned whisky lovers, as Glenturret rarely make it to our shores - more so because this expression is an alter ego, named 'Ruadh Maor' to signify the use of their heavily peated malt (up to 80ppm!) Definitely one for those looking for a very different dram. Glenturrets routinely sell out so be quick on the draw. One cask yielded 342 bottles. Very limited stocks.

Notes from the bottler... "Nose: Acrid smoke and earth peat. Barbecue beef crisps. Seaweed. Palate: Smoky caramel. Bonfire ash and sweet malt. Vanilla. Sea salt with soot." 58% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
