2009 Pierre Amadieu Vinsobres Les Piallats

Opaque black dark purple colour with dark purple hue. The nose displays aromas of dark ripe cherries, some meaty characters, a touch of liquorice and some spice. Medium to full bodied with flavours of dark raspberries, black cherries, some liquorice and meaty characters with a spicy back palate. Dryish slightly chewy tannins give the wine a slightly chalky mouthfeel. Aftertaste of black cherries, dried meat and earthy spice.
