Notes from Adelphi.... Matured exclusively in a first fill sherry butt, rosewood in colour and showing very good beading. On the nose we first discover harbourside oysters with Tabasco, eucalyptus, twiglets, mature cheddar and peanut satay. The palate is similarly savoury with biltong, Oxo cube, olive brine, chocolate and chilli, salted liquorice and a lengthy, waxy finish. 53.6% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 287 bottles.
