2004 Lady of the Glen Glen Elgin Single Cask #801298 17 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Tasting note: Glen Elgin is considered a medium bodied floral and fruity distillate. This one's been finished for 12 months in a second fill ruby Port Barrique from Josafer Tanoaria. The nose is expressive with sweet malt and fruit pastilles over fresher green wood aromas. Similar notes are reflected on the palate; baked fruits and various jams are followed by raisin slice and a rush of spices. Fruit'n'nut dark chocolate lingers in the aftertaste. 55.7% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 240 bottles
