Tasting note: Distilled in December 1998 and bottled March 2015. Opens grassy but builds density and definition with Summer Pudding and ripe orchard fruits, especially plum and pear. Clearly demonstrates the fullness of this distillery's spirit in a creamy, deliciously juicy mid palate burst... oily then spicy with bubblegum and bitter dark chocolate; more grassy to finish. Not super long but lipsmacking stuff. Fluffs up with minimal water. 56% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 282 bottles.
Notes from the bottlers... Nose: Summer fruits with honey and vanilla. Palate: Fresh, full bodied with malted barley. Finish: More barley notes with a hint of oak.
