1993 Liquid Sun Alt a Bhainne 22 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

This little-known malt is sourced from Alt a Bhainne distillery, a relatively new Speysider, built in 1975 to supply bulk malt whisky for the Chivas Regal blends.

Tasting note: Pale straw gold. Vapoury alcohol with lean, mildly acidic aromas evoking ginger biscuits and grass. Five minutes expands the aromatic range introducing semi-ripe apricot and dark chocolate. Easy entry followed by a prolonged juicy orchard fruit burst. Pepper and dusty cocoa to finish with fruit and light pepper in the fade. Medium long. 50.2% Alc./Vol.
