The North British distillery continues to supply grain whisky for use in blends such as Cutty Sark, Famous Grouse, Chivas Regal, J&B, Isle of Skye and Johnnie Walker. They never bottle whisky under their own label, so very few would have had the opportunity to taste it on its own. This example from Signatory Vintage was part of an outturn of 461 bottles. The norm here is x Bourbon casks; unusually, this one's from a refill sherry butt. 46.2% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
