1991 Gordon & Macphail Bruichladdich Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Bottled by prolific Independent bottlers Gordon and Macphail.  This 1991 vintage Bruichladdich was matured in remade American hogsheads, bottled at cask strength, 54.9% ABV.

Producer Tasting Notes...
WITHOUT WATER
Aroma: Fragrant aromas, palma violets and a hint of sweet honey and vanilla. Fruit elements develop, pineapple, lemon and lime zest.
Taste: Smooth with a touch of oak and hints of tropical fruits. Some milk chocolate influences with a slight menthol edge.

WITH WATER
Aroma: Menthol with toasted malt and sweet vanilla. Defined fruit note of lemon, pineapple and carambola.  
Taste: Black pepper with green apples and peach. Slight bitter flavours develop, orange peel with a lingering trace of tobacco. Medium.
