Strathclyde is a massive grain distillery owned by Pernod Ricard, located in the Glasgow suburb of the Gorbals. Churning out 40 million litres of spirit every year (primarily using a wheat base), the majority goes into blending. However, even grain distillers like to set a small portion aside for some advanced ageing. This one's all-American oak matured and well priced given the considerable age statement.
