The Macallan 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) - Annual 2018 Release

For many, the 18 year old is Macallan's benchmark for excellence. Matured exclusively in hand-picked sherry casks from Jerez, Spain, the 2018 edition is the first to sport the new tapered bottle design inspired by the Macallan Rare Cask. At this stage, not scheduled for release in Australia.

Other reviews... Like previous releases, this was matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks. Jaffa oranges, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, and dried fruits on the nose, plus warm leather. The palate is rich and spicy, with more orange, vanilla, and burning logs. Smoky sherry, ginger, dried fruits, and seasoned oak in the full finish.
