Aged for a minimum of 30 years and meticulously blended, this is a superb Tawny that’s sweet, luscious and intense with a syrupy like mouth feel.

Deeper and darker in colour than the Yalumba 21 year old, it has a sienna brown black tinged core and an onion brown, olive green tinged hue. Powerful scents of toffee, honey, walnut and rancio waft through the olfactory senses followed by some dried raisin and spice notes. Sweet, luscious and intense with a syrupy like mouth feel counterpointed by superb spirit integration which provides a dryness across the finish. Honey, toffee, hazelnut and dried raisin flavours meld into a nutty old brandy and rancio back drop. Mouth coating, long and silky with a lingering honeyed nut, dried fig and marzipan aftertaste.

A bit drier than the 21-year-old version, the NV Fine Aged Tawny 30 Years Old boasts knockout aromas of maple syrup, walnuts, rancio and hints of dried fig, citrus and sherry-like notes. It's amazingly drinkable, not overly sweet and just a terrific effort that will age effortlessly.
