Incredibly concentrated, viscous in it’s texture and complex.

This luscious 21 Year Old Tawny is made from old vine varieties including Shiraz, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Muscadelle. The grapes were fermented on skins for several days then fortified with fine brandy spirit, distilled through Yalumba’s very own still. Maturation followed in various old French and American hogsheads, barriques and quarter casks.
Deep tawny in colour with an olive green tinged rim. Intoxicating scents of honeyed walnut, hazelnut, fig, marzipan, fine brandy spirit and spicy raisins fill the nostrils. Thick, viscous and incredibly concentrated, honeyed walnut and marzipan flavours combine with old brandy, fig and Christmas cake characters. Exceptional depth and complexity with a long sweet yet dry hazelnut, honey and toffee laced finish.
