Dreamt up in Melbourne and conceived in Mexico, Tropa is a spirit as distinctive as its sculptural mushroom-shaped bottle (each finished with one of four collectible cap designs). Matured in American oak for three months, the result is a surprisingly intense, viscous, dessert-styled reposado that balances succulent roasted agave notes with decadent layers of vanilla, beeswax, caramel-chocolate and gently warming spice through to a clean, lingering finish. Whether it's being poured or simply displayed and collected, the vessel commands attention long after the first glass.
